BED BUGS ON THE BRAIN

This past year, the bed bug population nationally has witnessed an unprecedented spike (our sympathies with the census takers in charge of that survey), spurring local apartment trade organizations into action. The Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and the Apartment Association of North Carolina are jointly sponsoring a workshop with the National Pest Management Association. To be held in Charlotte today, the theme will be ?Understanding Bed Bugs: Essentials for Property and Facility Managers.? Topics will include identifying bed bugs, inspection techniques, eradication, and managing the attendant public relations nightmare that ensues when a property becomes infested.
