$61M INDUSTRIAL DEAL

TA Associates Realty, based in Boston, just sold CrossPoint Center, a 1M SF industrial complex in Charlotte, to Liberty Property Trust for almost $61M, Mecklenburg County deeds show. (Also in the Mecklenburg County records: James K. Polk's birth certificate.)
 
CrossPoint Center has seven buildings ranging from about 80k SF toalmost 270k SF and sits on 78 acres. It's about 90% leased, Malvern, Pa.-based Liberty Property Trust is an office and industrial REIT that owns more than 77M SF of space in 20 US markets, including about 1.5M SF in Charlotte.
