A new White Marsh strip mall anchored by MOM’s Organic Market, TJ Maxx and DSW is fully leased, with a handful of restaurants and shops opening in the coming months.

Owned by Weingarten Realty, Nottingham Commons will house a Sleepy’s Mattress, EDO Sushi and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers by the first quarter of next year, says Weingarten leasing executive Sarah Jordan. Local fast-casual shop Nalley Fresh will open this month, along with MOM’s, whose grand opening will be held Nov. 11-13.

The 135k SF shopping center is on Campbell Boulevard at Franklin Square Drive, about a half mile from the White Marsh Mall. Other recently opened stores include Applebee’s, Five Below and Massage Envy.

“White Marsh has a lot of high-income residents. It’s a really attractive area for us to go into,” Sarah says. Based in Houston, Weingarten has historically invested in grocery-anchored shopping centers, but is eyeing an expansion into mixed-use developments, she says.
