MOM's Organic Market Opening White Marsh Store Next Month

Construction on MOM's Organic Market's ninth Maryland store is nearly completed. MOM's will hold a grand opening for its store at Nottingham Commons in White Marsh Nov. 11-13, spokeswoman Christine Koetz says.

Some of the highlights of the 15k SF store will include an extensive liquid bulk section selling oil, detergents and soaps; an electric car charging station; and a recycling center for eyeglasses, wine corks, cellphones, and other home and personal items.

Along with its Waldorf store, it will be the second MOM's to rely partially on solar energy. The $1.5M store will also dedicate a section that sells tools to aiding backyard beekeepers. Based in Rockville, the family-owned business opened a store at Hampden's Rotunda shopping and residential complex in the spring.
