TUESDAY NIGHT'S BIG SCHMOOZE!

We had a great time Tuesday night at our first-ever Baltimore Schmoozarama (for once we didn't make you arrive at 7am for an event). On the waterfront at Harbor East's Lebanese Taverna, 125 of our guests enjoyed two hours of networking, open bar, and of course food. Among them: Brown Craig Turner CEO Bryce Turner, Commercial Settlement Services?s Terry Anne Hearn, and American Office's Emily Brown and Adil Desai.
We also snapped Cresa?s Tony Lavin and Scott Wingrat, Acme Paper & Supply Co's Andy Attman, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney?s P.J. Pearlstone. Andy tells us there's been an increase in new concepts and additional locations from existing eateries in the past three months, especially in the mid-level to fine dining arena (six to 10 more coming in the next six months). He's been working with restaurant concepts new to Baltimore City on their equipment, china, and glassware. Kettle Hill opened two months ago at Power Plant Live and released a new menu recently, Goldberg's New York Bagels opened a new spot in Timonium on Monday, Latin infusion lounge bar and restaurant Willow opened in Fells Point yesterday, and the Woodberry Kitchen folks open Artifact Coffee today at Seawall Development's Union Mill.
Progressive Commercial Finance CEO Dennis Gilbert, (second from left) enjoys Bisnow events because of the ?great food, great company, great everything.? Who is that great company? Well, he's flanked by AiNet?s George Tully, Continental Title Group's Liz Jones, Colbert Matz Rosenfelt?s Lisa Junker, EarthLink Business? Terry Hodge, and McEnroe Voice & Data?s Steve Lacy.
Axiom?s Peggy White and Jennifer Leonard discuss a golf foursome with Mandel Liff & Walsh?s Teri Spradlin-Dahn for the mid-August Maryland Association of Counties conference in Ocean City. Perhaps they could still use a fourth!
