Last year it was a tornado warning, this year a flood watch. Still, folks like Continental Realty’s Melissa Sweeney, St. John’s Lacey Johansson, Lee & Associates’ Marley Welsh and Kate Jordan, and CMS’s Aneta Orellana turned out for NAIOP Maryland’s recent summer social at Maryland Science Center. Kate tells us her company just hired another woman, bringing its ranks to 33% female. She just repped local household name Greenwood Recovery in a 30k SF, four-acre lease at 3437 9th St. Every time the towing company toured a property, the owner's rep would say, "I got towed by you once!" but they're the nicest people, Kate says.
