South Baltimore Master Plan Calls for Sports and Entertainment District

A sports and entertainment district with shops, restaurants and hotels is taking shape in South Baltimore, near M&T Bank Stadium and the Horseshoe Casino. Game, a sports bar at 1400 Warner St, received an entertainment license to host DJs (dust off your CD player from when you used to play tunes at Bar Mitzvah receptions) and live acts, while legendary nightclub Hammerjack's is poised to make a comeback. Creating such a district is one of the priorities in the city's South Baltimore Gateway Master Plan. [Sun]
