Power lunches aren't just for brokers: late last week C&W's Linda Hartman sent us this pic of herself (far right) and fellow researchers Matt Felton of MacKenzie, CBRE's Jen Quast, JLL's Patrick Latimer, MacKenzie's Trish Gottesman and Lance Dorn, and Colliers' Sean O'Neill grubbing at Kona Grill. Socializing was at the top of the agenda (after all, it is August), but they tell us uncertainty about the economy, the federal budget, and job growth are slowing down market activity and affecting pre-leasing near Aberdeen Proving Ground and Ft. Meade. As for Baltimore City, recent leases by Miles & Stockbridge and PNC Bank reflect a flight to quality by CBD tenants.
