| If you're a big tenant, that is. Yesterday we snapped JLL Baltimore head Stuart Rienhoff in his office, where he gave us a sneak peak at the firm's newest report: fewer available large blocks of space (50k SF-plus) across the metro are eroding concessions and spiking rents for companies with large requirements. Eight big blocks are left in Baltimore City, with only seven in Baltimore, Harford, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties combined. |
| Stuart says several large deals over the past year, like Transamerica and Ober Kaler (and maybe Miles Stockbridge) at 100 Light St, aredriving the trend. Rents will increase in quality buildings that have big chunks available, Stuart tells us, but ?price wars? will continue in the still plentiful, small- to mid-size blocks. |
