Walk a Mile in Those Shoes

CBRE San Antonio collected 1,016 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls as part of CBRE's third annual company-wide shoe drive. (That's enough to make Carrie from Sex and the City blush.) With Mount ShoesMore (collected over a three week period) are Veronica de la Rosa, Charlie Smith, and Veronica Elliott, who organized the local collection efforts. Soles4Souls is a global not-for-profit institution dedicated to fighting the impact and perpetuation of poverty. The organization collects new and used shoes and clothes, then distributes them to people in need and by implementing programs designed to create jobs in poor and disadvantaged communities.
