Its not just construction thats dominating multifamily deals, but sales are still occurring, too. HFF arranged $24.3M in financing for the 309-unit Avanti Hills Alexan Galleria luxury multihousing community (pictured) in southwest Austin for borrower Christopher Commercial. The 10-year, 3.23% fixed-rate loan through Freddie Mac was used to acquire the property. HFF senior managing director Douglas Opalka worked the deal. Separately, ARA principal Pat Jones and colleague Casey Fry repped Teeple Partners in its sale of the 256-unit Westover Oaks in San Antonio to Venterra Realty for an undisclosed amount. The 2012-construction property was 92% occupied at time of sale.
