Ben Carter Cuts Ribbon on Savannah Success

We caught Tanger Factory Outlet Centers CEO Steven Tanger and Ben Carter Enterprises' namesake Ben Carter at the grand opening of Tanger Outlets Savannah. The $107M, 377k SF open-air power center (the first phase, with plans for an additional 500k SF) is Ben's latest comeback victory project since being wounded in the recession when his then-named Streets of Buckhead project stalled out (now complete under OliverMcMillan as Buckhead Atlanta). Ben also is working to redevelop more than 30 buildings along Savannah's Broughton Street into a new mixed-use project, anchored by H&M Merchant.
