LEASES

HGOR has i nked an 8,500 SF lease at Two Live Oak in Buckhead. The landscape architecture firm is  moving its HQ from North Druid Hills area. Cushman & Wakefield's David Shope brokered for the landlord, ND Properties, while The Armstrong Group's  Brent Armstrong repped HGOR.

NorthPoint Executive Suites has  leased 20,800 SF at 3675 Crestwood Pkwy. Boxer Property's Carmen Ramos brokered for the landlord in the direct deal.

BT Americas has  inked 30k SF at Paces West in Vinings, which acts as the company's regional offices. Jones Lang LaSalle's Glenn Aspinwall  and  Kay Younglove (above at our recent event at the W Midtown) brokered the deal for the landlord. Colliers International's Pete Shelton  and  Andrew Walker brokered for the tenant.

SALES

Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT has picked up Rivergate Shopping Center, a  200k SF retail center in Macon for an undisclosed amount. The center, anchored by Publix, was sold by Nightingale Group. HFF's Richard Reid  and  Jim Hamilton brokered the sale.

DEVELOPMENT

Barker Street LLC has filed plans with the state department of community affairs for a  476-acre mixed-use project in Gainesville called Gateway Village. The project is set to include  310 apartment units, 186 single-family homes, 500k SF of commercial  and  100k SF of office space. The Marietta-based developer states it will deliver the project by 2020, according to docs.

Walton Development and Management has assembled land for another mega development. The Roswell company has assemble more than 325 acres at the corner of Hwy 316 and 81 in Barrow County. The mix will include residential, commercial, light industrial, retail and office.

Fierman Development's Todd Fierman has purchased a .17-acre parcel at 975 Piedmont Rd to develop The View at 975, a multi-level villa townhouse project. NAI Brannen Goddard's Ray Mokhberi brokered the land sale.

PEOPLE

Marcus & Millichap's Robert Pfeiffer has been named as VP Investments for retail/net-leased properties.

EVENTS

The BeltLine is getting its own race. Organizers have scheduled the Atlanta BeltLine Southeast 8k starting just south of Grant Park and ending at Boulevard Crossing Park on Sept. 28.
