Not everyone's New Year's Resolution is to get fit. For one real estate broker, it's to help a new fitness chain land more Atlanta locations.
 
Planet Fitness is scouting the metro area for five more stores, Colliers International's Mike Neal tells us. We spoke with him at his booth at the ?Meet the Retailers? forum during ICSC's Southeastern Conference on Monday at the Cobb Galleria. Mike was a networking firestorm, chatting up retail landlord brokers. He tells us Planet Fitness, which offers a flat $19/month membership fee without sign-up costs to compete against the likes of LA Fitness and Golds Gym, has two franchise operators here seeking ?aggressiveexpansion opportunities. So far, the chain has three gyms, including one in Duluth.
