NO ONE BUYS BLONDIE'S HOME

Most people were talking about apartments this morning at our 3rd Annual Atlanta Multifamily Summit at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, but Franklin Street?s  Jake Reid  and Perennial Properties' Jay McGinnity had some different news—on the famous (or is that infamous?) Clermont Lounge. Or more specifically, the property where the  unique adult club  is located. Jake tells us the contract to buy 789 Ponce de Leon Ave  fell out with a previous unnamed buyer and now Franklin Street is looking for a new taker. ?We have  back up offers we're entertaining,? Jake tells us (and by "entertaining," we assume not at the club). Those offers may include plans to transform the defunct Clermont Motor Hotel into a  new hotel or even an apartment building.
