How did some of Atlanta's commercial real estate pros spend the Independence Day holiday? We'll start with Bull Realty's Ilona Vaystikh, who ran the Peachtree Road race with National Retail Group's Jenny Wesselmann. Well, maybe “ran” is too strong a description. Ilona says the duo sped walked.

PM Realty Group's Bill Weghorst spent the holiday weekend with his family—wife Joan and kids Trey and Kelsey—on Alabama's Gulf Shores. Here the group attended a Dierks Bently concert, without, we hope, getting drunk on a plane.

REGA spent the pre-4th at a Braves game for its annual board meeting. Here Hartman, Simons & Wood's Summey Orr bought Bank of North Georgia's Mark Hancock (the current REGA prez) and CBRE's Jonathan Rice (prez-elect) some peanuts and Cracker Jacks. 

Wakefield Beasley's Marty Taffel did some time traveling at 88 mph and ended up in ancient Jordanian City of Petra under armed guard. Luckily, they agreed to let Marty return home just in time for the 4th.

Stan Johnson Co's Joey Odom spent his in Charleston. Here, he's posing with his wife Cristin in front of their favorite Holy City restaurant, Husk. Stan Johnson recently brokered the sale/leaseback for Advanced Control Systems, which sold its 50k SF Norcross facility to Phoenix-based STORE Capital for $4.1M. Stan Johnson's Britton Burdette and Mollie Alteri brokered the sale.
