Luxury Brand John Hardy Will Make US Retail Debut In Houston, Then NYC

John Hardy, internationally renowned for its artisan handcrafted jewelry, will make its first foray into US retail with the launch of a 1k SF Houston boutique in River Oaks District this September, followed by a New York City flagship store in November. The handcrafted luxury store will fit right in on New York City's luxury corridor at 118 Prince in Soho. The move comes as part of the brand transformation envisioned by CEO Robert Hanson, who took over when L. Catterton acquired the company in July 2014.

Established in Bali in 1975, the company is known for its Asian-inspired designs and traditional handmade jewelry techniques. It markets itself as a “sustainable luxury” brand, using a collective of local artisans in Bali to manufacture gorgeous jewelry like the ring above.
