White Oak Real Estate Advisors has acquired 801 East Arrowood Road for $3.8M, according to Mecklenburg County records. Atlanta-based White Oak, which is new to the Charlotte market, plans to redevelop a former retail structure into a 110K SF creative office building, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

The property, which used to be a Walmart, will be called Arrowood Station. It is on a 12-acre site at Arrowood and Old Pineville roads that is roughly an eight-minute walk to the Lynx Blue Line Arrowood Station. The upfit work designed by Cline Design Associates will start in about a month, and be completed in about a year.

Cushman & Wakefield's Jessica Brown, David Dorsch, Kris Westmoreland and Grant Keyes are marketing the property on behalf of White Oak. Brown noted that the space would be good for a single user.
