The first phase of the $20M redevelopment of The Shops at Kenilworth in Towson will be unveiled next week and will include a smaller and redesigned version of hardware store Stebbins Anderson. The new store at the Towson mall will house a smaller hardware section and sell housewares, patio furniture and gifts, the Baltimore Business Journal reports.

Trader Joe's will be moving from its Towson Circle location to Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Corp's redeveloped mall in spring 2017. The remade mall will also include a 20k SF market with a wine bar, food court and casual and fine dining options when it's completed next year.

The renovations will gut the dated exterior (pictured) and interior and replace it with a contemporary look, including grand front and side entryways, more natural lighting, updated floors and warm woods throughout. A new third floor will offer outdoor seating and a rooftop garden. Current tenants at the mall include Lax World, About Faces Day Spa & Salon, and South Moon Under, which will remain open during construction. [BBJ]
