Celebrating Corporate Counsel
This week we celebrated some of the DC area's in-house legal elite with the Trending 40: Top Washington Corporate Counsel reception.
The 200 attendees enjoyed hours of music, open bar, food and networking. We snapped the honorees at the Disruption Corporation offices in Crystal City. (Check out a full list of honorees here.)
Here are honorees Vox Media GC Lauren Fisher and SourceAmerica GC Raquel Tamez flanked by their friends Axiom Law practice manager Nicole Manara and Navigant Consulting director of business development Laura Merrell.

We spotted Navigant Consulting's Colleen Yushchak catching up with Justine Donohue and Dan Binstock from legal search firm and event partner Garrison & Sisson.
Joining us from the Association of Corporate Counsel for the National Capital Region (an event partner and the 2,200 member chapter formerly known as WMACCA) was president Rob Falk and executive director Ilene Reid, second and third from left. Rob is the general counsel of the Human Rights Campaign. They're surrounded by three honorees: WeddingWire GC Andrew Olek, Revolution Growth and Revolution Venture GC Song Pak, and Mirixa GC Karen Litsinger, who's also an ACC National Capital Region board member.

Dapper dresser and honoree EagleBank GC Larry Bensignor attended with his wife, Fern—and on the left we caught another honoree, HumanTouch GC David Temeles. Larry and Fern love to travel and are visiting the Greek isles this summer.
We also saw Cooley EVP Carl Grant and Tina Ayiotis. Tina is a founder of the Georgetown Cybersecurity Law Institute (its third annual conference is coming up in May).
In his free time, you can find honoree Cliff Greenblatt, GC of TASC, playing lead guitar in a rock band, but this is how he looks in business dress. We found him with lawyer Laurence Grayer.
New York Life's Jason Howell joined a lively group from event partner Kilpatrick Townsend: associate Rich Almon, business development manager Stephanie Sherman, associate Tyechia White and partner David Cox.
