Target goes small in Silicon Valley with its grand opening today at Main Street Cupertino. The 21k SF store at 19499 Stevens Creek Blvd anchors the mixed-used project and includes a CVS Pharmacy, Target Mobile and order pickup.

Main Street Cupertino store team leader Chris Soto tells Bisnow the new store will “not only bring more business to Cupertino, but also continue Target’s success within the city of Cupertino.”

Target’s flexible-format stores offer quicker customer visits while also providing food offerings, men’s and women’s apparel, home assortment, health and beauty products, and portable electronics and accessories. Other small Target stores are in Berkeley and San Francisco.

Sand Hill Property Co’s Main Street Cupertino project includes 120 apartments, 131k SF of retail, 260k SF of office and a 180-room hotel. Apple pre-leased most of the office space and is set to open this month.
