Sunset Magazine Leaving Menlo for Oakland

The monthly one-stop shop for West Coast living will move its HQ to Jack London Square from the Menlo Park campus it's occupied since 1951. Last year Time Inc sold the site at 80 Willow to Embarcadero Capital Partners. The company will be in the same building (55 Harrison St) as the Water Street Market, which is being developed by the team behind the Ferry Building Marketplace. Sunset's 20k SF editorial and business offices in Oakland will be designed by RMW and feature a food and drink component, with a test kitchen and wine cellar. Sunset will establish an additional presence at Cornerstone in Sonoma with a test garden, outdoor kitchen and live programming.
