Insight Realty's Dennis Randall: Silicon Valley May Take A Breather, But There's Still Plenty Of Opportunity

Insight Realty's Dennis Randall has put a lot of faith in Silicon Valley and, despite market responses to global turmoil and pre-election posturing, he continues to see new opportunities arising in the area. You can hear more from Dennis tomorrow at Bisnow's Future of Silicon Valley: Hot Projects event at Santa Clara Square, starting at 7:30am.

We caught up with Dennis (snapped with his wife, Brooke) to find out what he expects this year in Silicon Valley. Insight Realty has some major mixed-use projects in San Jose, which Dennis says is ready to take off (you can get his thoughts on that here). He predicts Silicon Valley will slow down a bit this year and "take a much-needed breath in sympathy with a weakening world and US economic picture."

That said, he tells us employers will continue to seek ways to locate near housing and transit, creating opportunities. Insight Realty has two projects, Rail Yard Place and Museum Place, that are poised to take advantage of that long-term shift to urban villages and public transportation, he tells us.

The company also is seeking other opportunities in San Jose and other markets. To hear more from Dennis and our other top-notch panelists, join us at Bisnow's Future of Silicon Valley: Hot Projects event starting at 7:30am tomorrow at Santa Clara Square. Sign up here!
