Lincoln Plans Massive Creative Office Project in Tustin
Demand is strong for office space in OC, but the market still craves something more modern. We chatted with Lincoln Property Co EVP Kevin Hayes, who tells us all about the company's innovative local creative office plans.
Kevin says its 760k SF Cornerstone I will meet that demand for creative office space by being a place "rich in experiential amenities." Lincoln and the City of Tustin inked a negotiation agreement recently for the Dallas-based developer to pursue development of the office property at the southwest edge of Tustin Legacy, the city's 1,600-acre redevelopment of Marine Corps Air Station Tustin.
In addition to the open plan creative office space, the Lincoln proposal includes almost 100k SF of support uses, such as a food hall, supporting retail, outdoor meeting and gathering spaces, and parking. The development would also be adjacent to Legacy Park, which will run through a part of Tustin Legacy. All together, Kevin says, it will offer an environment attractive to companies seeking to find and retain talent in Orange County.
