When it is time to expand, it is time to move — literally.

With six decades of experience and more than a dozen offices around the country, Timmons Group has the experience and scale to work on multiple site plans at once for a single tenant, Timmons director of private land development Junie West said.

The firm’s intimate knowledge of its clients’ needs lets Timmons remove barriers to rapid expansion on a national scale, as soon as those clients are ready for it. In a recent span of 24 hours, the firm evaluated 24 sites for a major grocer working on an expansion to a new market.

“It’s attractive when our clients know an engineer has their processes and systems down and that they don’t have to educate us,” West said. “All the time, our clients say ‘we need someone who understands me, not just someone who understands engineering.’”

And Timmons’ intimate knowledge of local land use regulations can mean early approval for construction. In numerous cases, as retailers have sought to rapidly expand, Timmons has helped get shovels in the ground sooner than expected.

“When we get a client to turn a store over quickly and we get them in there to start training employees before they’re even paying rent, that’s a big deal,” West said.

We are thrilled Timmons Groups has joined us as a sponsor of our Bisnow Beltway Bash, to be held at the TAO Nightclub in the Venetian on Monday, May 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Las Vegas. Register here.
