Taking a break from bringing some of the hottest restaurant concepts to DC, Tom Papadopoulos and wife Koula hit up the All England Club in London for Wimbledon last week, where behind them, Spanish superstar Rafael Nadal was outlasting Czech upstart Lukas Rosol. Tom tells us he's working on bringing three high-profile restaurants to CityCenter, though he can't name names just yet. (His firm has already brought Daniel Boulud's DBGB to the development.) Other concepts his firm has represented are about to open throughout the region, including True Food Kitchen and Ted's Bulletin at the Mosiac District in Merrifield, and Ted's, Chop't, and Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar at Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg. (Let's see if he brings back any concepts from the England. Could there be a fast-casual shepherd's pie?)
