Build Toronto Generates $45M in Dividends for City

Build Toronto chair Chris Voustsinas dropped by the Commercial Real Estate Lenders Association luncheon last Friday to talk about the value in surplus city properties. CRELA co-founder Amar Nijjar sent us this pic of him, co-founder Chad Gemmel (both with JLL), National Bank’s Neil Carpenter and Chris, at JLL’s Commerce Court office. Chris told the 50 lending institution senior execs that Build has to date sold 14 projects, done two JVs, and created $45M in dividends for the city, generating $85M in revenue. Projects he's particularly excited about include Ordnance Triangle (aka Garrison Point) and Tridel’s Ten York.
