Avison Young Acquires Appraisal Firm

Avison Young has acquired Toronto-based property appraisal company Metrix Realty Group (Ontario), a move that Avison Young CEO Mark Rose says ups his firm's capabilities in valuation and advisory services. Metrix, launched in 2002, has been rebranded as Avison Young, and Metrix founder and president Paul Stewart (pictured) and VP Matthew McWatters are now Avison Young principals. Paul will be responsible for expanding the firm’s property appraisal service offerings in all business classes throughout the GTA.
