Men’s fashion retailer Grafton Fraser—which operates Tip Top Tailors, George Richards Big & Tall, Mr. Big & Tall and Kingsport—has acquired all 35 Jones New York stores across Canada and said Wednesday it plans “significant growth” in the near future. Jones New York earlier this year announced it would be closing 127 of its stores by the end of 2015. In business since 1853, Grafton Fraser has also signed a long-term partnership agreement with Authentic Brands Group, which purchased Jones New York in April, to manage the retailer’s e-commerce in Canada. ABG maintains control of Jones New York’s worldwide portfolio.
