Slate Office REIT has acquired West Metro Corporate Centre, a three-building complex at 185, 191 and 195 The West Mall in Etobicoke, from Dream Office REIT. The 616K SF campus is 93% occupied; anchors are SNC-Lavalin and Bank of Nova Scotia. West Metro will be Slate Office REIT's largest property and SNC-Lavalin its largest tenant. Slate strengthened its Atlantic Canada presence with the purchase of two office properties in Fredericton, also from Dream: 250 King (80K SF) and 460 Two Nations (51K SF), both 100% occupied by the Province of New Brunswick. Aggregate purchase price for the three properties is $165M.
