Madison Group, Westdale Properties and Nobu Hospitality just unveiled plans for Nobu Toronto, a mixed-use project on Mercer Street that will include the first Nobu-branded high-rise residences, plus Canada’s first Nobu hotel and restaurant (15K SF on two levels). The luxury project, designed by Teeple Architects and Studio Munge, and developed and sold by Madison Group, will have 700 condos in two 49-storey towers, with a base that incorporates historic façades of the Pilkington Glass Factory. There will be ground-floor retail. Nobu was founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and producer Meir Teper.
