Amazon At Work On Third Tower In Seattle

Work has started the third tower in Amazon's high-rise Seattle campus, with completion slated for 2019. The structure will include a 37-story tower and a seven-story building with a total of 1.1M SF of office, more than 43k SF of retail and 1,128 underground parking spaces.

Doppler, the campus' first tower, opened in December. Amazon's biosphere building is also going up there, and scheduled for completion next year. All together, the three blocks will have around 3.3M SF of office space, and Amazon is working on plans for a fourth block at 2200 Seventh Ave, the Puget Sound Business Journal reports.

Seattle architecture firm NBBJ designed the first three blocks, while GC Sellen built the first two and is working on the third. [PSBJ]
