Menlo Close on 250k SF Mega Lease

Palo Alto-based Menlo Equities is getting ready to net a big one, sources tell us.

It's about to sign a 250k SF tenant, and sources say it's for its 3333 Scott Blvd site in Santa Clara. The site dates back to 2011, when Menlo partnered with Beacon Capital Partners to buy 30.2 acres of vacant land, one of the last remaining large development sites between S.F. and San Jose. The initial phase includes four-story buildings totaling 460k SF. The site is entitled for up to 1.3M SF of Class-A office.
