115K SF Shopping Center Breaks Ground In Livermore

Redmill Capital and financial partner Anico Eagle began construction of a 115K SF mixed-use retail development in Livermore during May. The 13-acre retail center will be next to the San Francisco Premium Outlets.

Called The Shops, the project is expected to benefit from the 4 million shoppers who visit the outlets each year, but will be a separate entity from the outlet center, according to RedMill Capital development director Jon Stocker.

Amenities of The Shops include outdoor seating, pedestrian-friendly crosswalks leading to the outlets and a new link to the Arroyo Trail.

The center will be at El Charro Road and West Jack London Boulevard and offer discount fashion retailers and a mix of popular, national-brand, quick-service and casual sit-down restaurants. The Shops is expected to be completed summer 2018.

Retail leasing will be led by Colliers International executive vice president Julie Taylor and senior vice president Stephen Rusher.
