Google Eyes 500k SF Silicon Valley Expansion

The tech giant is shopping for space, looking at leasing as much as 357k SF in its home city of Mountain View, including this 133k SF office at 1001 N Shoreline Blvd being built by Calvano Development.

In addition, Google is looking at more than 150k SF in North San Jose, which would represent the company's first expansion into the city.

Google has been expanding its office footprint aggressively in the last year, including reports it's eyeing the massive Hunters Point Shipyard redevelopment near Candlestick Park. [SJMN]
