Airbnb Inks Another Lease In San Francisco's Showplace Square

Airbnb expanded its presence in San Francisco’s Showplace Square with its latest lease. The short-term rental company is subleasing 82K SF from Salesforce at 650 Seventh St., the San Francisco Business Times reports. Salesforce subsidiaries, such as Heroku, Steelbrick and a startup incubator, have been using the space. Salesforce has not indicated if these divisions will move to other properties.

Airbnb, which employs about 1,500 in San Francisco, has been moving toward an urban campus in Showplace Square, and its footprint is now over 600K SF. It also signed a 287K SF lease with Zynga at 650 Townsend earlier this year. Airbnb moved into its newest office at 999 Brannan St. this year as well. Airbnb also leases 170K SF at 888 Brannan St., and it occupies space at 99 Rhode Island St.
