From Taco Bell To 33 Montgomery

AnyPerk just inked a new 13k SF HQ lease at 33 New Montgomery, moving on from its tiny 2k SF office at 442 Post. It's hard to believe the startup launched in March 2012 out of a borrowed car in a Taco Bell parking lot. Co-founders Taro Fukuyama and Sunny Tsang had no money, connections, or house, so the always-open (and free) lot was an ideal first office (who knew Doritos Locos Tacos is brain food?). AnyPerk offers companies like Pinterest and Hulu such perks as Equinox and AMC passes. The new 7th floor office can house up to 100 employees; right now there's 37. Cushman & Wakefield repped the tenant and landlord, Equity Office Properties.
