Boxer Enters SD With Sorrento Office Buy

A Houston real estate investor has made its first foray into San Diego's commercial property landscape. Boxer Property has picked up Sorrento Ridge Corporate Center—a three-story, 100k SF office building at 7220 Trade St—from an Auction.com sale from special servicer LNR. Details on the transaction were not disclosed as of press time, but according to public records, the building sold in January 2014 for $6M, down from a sales price of $18M in 2007.
