Aventine Office Tower Sells For $150M

Boston-based Rockpoint Group has picked up Aventine for a cool $150M. Blackstone Group sold the 239k SF office building at 8910 University Center Lane, which includes 23k SF of retail with The Melting Pot and Fleming's Steakhouse. Anchored by CoStar Group's regional office, the 11-story Aventine office tower is more than 90% leased, reports the San Diego Business Journal. RiverRock Real Estate Group will continue to manage the property. The sale comes on the heels of the $118M Hyatt Regency La Jolla hotel sale inside the Aventine mixed-use project to Walton Street Capital and JMA Ventures. [SDBJ]
