Baerlic Brewery To Anchor New Food Cart Pod

Baerlic Brewery Taproom

Southeast Portland-based Baerlic Brewery will be the nexus of a new food cart pod and beer garden at Northeast 60th Avenue and Halsey Street. It will be known as the Barley Pod.

Ethos Development is overseeing the project. Plans call for the brewery to operate a freestanding taproom in a 1K SF building on the 10K SF lot, the Portland Business Journal reports.

The Barley Pod's taproom will have 50 seats, with another 50 to 75 seats outside. It will feature Baerlic beer along with wine, cider and kombucha.

At least 10 food carts will surround the taproom, maybe as many as 12, and could be open by mid-October.
