Prime Retail Center Sells For $7.5M

Tempe’s Countryside Specialty Shops, a 31k SF retail center, has sold to Morris Family Trust for $7.5M. Renovated in 2014, the center is 92% occupied and sits at the corner of McClintock Drive and Warner Road near ASU. Orion Investment repped the seller of the center, where tenants include Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, Rosati’s Pizza and Great Harvest Bread.

The center's location is prime for retail because of the unusually high household income in the surrounding area; average household income within one mile is reported as $128k, Orion reports. Countryside’s ZIP code, 85284, was recently listed as one of the top five in the Valley by measure of household income.
