Mountainside Fitness members, staff and trainers across the Valley raised $14K in donations in March and April to help 2-year-old Kolton Foster beat a rare form of pediatric cancer. Each participating location held two Zumba classes every Saturday throughout April to promote Kolton’s cause, and almost 1,000 #TeamKolton tanks and T-shirts were sold to support the boy and his mother, a Mountainside Fitness Zumba instructor.
Kolton had chemotherapy treatment and is now in remission, Mountainside Fitness founder and CEO Tom Hatten said. Mountainside Fitness is a privately owned health club operating more than 14 locations in the Phoenix metro area.
