CBRE is scouting the market with a couple of sizable build-to-suit projects. And we'll know what they are in the next month or so.
CB's Bob Walters tells us the projects have R&D components. He was mum on names but says the companies should be making a decision in the next 45 days. Word of ground-up development has been registering on the CRE radar lately, including news of Endo and Shire pharmaceuticals. Bob says the recent upsurge in built-to-suits is due to companies pursuing long-term strategies.
