Renderings For FLIGHT At Tustin Legacy Unveiled

A huge new project is slated for Tustin, and Bisnow recently caught up with Lincoln Property Co EVP Kevin Hayes to find out more. Kevin will be one of the all-star panelists at Bisnow's Annual Orange County Evolution of Office Series event tomorrow at Radius in Tustin.

The 870k SF mixed-use campus will be known as FLIGHT at Tustin Legacy (intersection of Barranca Parkway and Armstrong Avenue).

Lincoln Property Co, along with Alcion Ventures, is developing the campus, which will be spread out over 38.74 acres.

It will be the first ground-up creative office development in the area and the first office project at Tustin Legacy, according to Kevin.

The scale of the project is significant.

More importantly, Kevin tells Bisnow, it is "a groundbreaking design" that takes all of the lessons they've learned in "defining the next generation of office" and combines them into one campus.

He describes it as a "rare infill development opportunity to redefine the boring suburban Orange County atmosphere," saying it will help "redefine the landscape" for the area.

The project's proximity to John Wayne Airport is expected to draw future tenants.

Kevin says it will be attractive to more than just tech companies. Many firms have said they are attracted to its "design features, creature comforts and amenities," he says.

The campus will offer a variety of building types, including four one-story or two-story buildings (with two 5k SF and two 10k SF); three four-story buildings with 22k SF each; and one four-story building with 38k SF.

The design of FLIGHT features elevators, exterior catwalks and balconies and allows visitors to step directly from the outdoors into a company's office, according to Kevin.

Another amenity is Legacy Park, which includes 2.5 miles of trails and outdoor meeting spaces, Kevin says.
