H&M is planning a major expansion in the US over the next year. The clothing retailer looks for 25k SF in every type of retail possible from outlets to Class-A shopping centers, according to Arent Fox partner Anthony Lupo, who interviewed former H&M general counsel Hank Rouda (now GC at Giorgio Armani) at Bisnow’s 5th Annual NYC Retail Summit. The duo also discussed how online shopping affects brick-and-mortar businesses.
