Cushman & Wakefield Snags Massey for $100M

Besting other suitors, C&W is putting the finishing touches on a $100M acquisition of investment sales and mortgage brokerage Massey Knakal, the Commercial Observer reported.

CBRE and DTZ reportedly pursued a strategic deal but fell to wayside as C&W made an irresistible offer to take Massey in its entirety, according to the Observer. Massey has excelled in recent years, establishing a dominant role as a broker for properties in the $1M to $100M range.
