Commercial real estate might still be a man's world, but at the world's biggest real estate services firm, brokerage is Mary Ann's world, and the men are just living in it.

CBRE Tri-State CEO Mary Ann Tighe was the brokerage house's top producer worldwide in 2016, leading a team that close 4.7M SF in lease transactions worth a combined $3.1B. For many brokers, that would constitute an impressive career. For Tighe, it was the fourth time she was CBRE's top producer, after taking home the crown in 2008, 2011 and 2014.

Her biggest deals last year were McGraw Financial's 900K SF renewal at 55 Water St., also the biggest lease in New York City last year, and The Citadel's lease with L&L Holding Co. at 425 Park Ave., which, by one metric, was the most expensive lease in New York history. She also represented Coach in its $707M headquarters sale-leaseback at 10 Hudson Yards.

Tighe has not slowed down early in 2017, either. She led the team that represented Silverstein Properties in securing Spotify to move into a huge space in 4 World Trade Center, completing the lease-up of the downtown skyscraper.
