Samson Klugman's Quality Capital and Leo Tsimmers Caerus Group just purchased two East Village buildings that once housed the Parisian-style club La Belle Epoque for $60M. 827-829 and 831 Broadway (pictured) belonged to designer Howard Kaplan for 35 years before the off-market deal, The Real Deal reports. Together the buildings cover 36.5k SF, with another 30k SF of air rights, 75 feet of frontage on Broadway, and a bit more on East 12th Street. Each building has two floors of retail and two floors of rentals. The main draw for the buyers was the 10k SF of prime retail space on Broadway right by Union Square, though no plans for the property were disclosed. [TRD]
