But TMG wasn’t done there. Divco West and TMG completed the sale of 1275 Market St to Dolby Laboratories, bagging just under $110M. (This being San Francisco, the bagging was with a reusable canvas bag.) The sale price works out to about $310/SF. Dolby, which was chosen by Microsoft last month to provide audio for Windows 8, is currently in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. Divco West and TMG acquired the building last October—an investment that Divco West founder Stuart Shiff says validates the belief in Mid-Market as an “emerging technology center for the Bay Area.”
