Look who we found among the Hollywood stars at Mark Ein's White House Correspondents Dinner pre-party on Saturday: former federal CTO Aneesh Chopra and former FCC chairman Julius Genachowski. Topic A: Aneesh's new book, "Innovative State: How New Technologies Can Transform Government,” which came out yesterday. Aneesh also works on Hunch Analytics, a data and analytics company in Arlington, launched last October with Microstrategy co-founder Sanju Bansal and former Claraview managing director Dan Ross.
We also went to the Kennedy Center Spring Gala Sunday night. The elegant evening is always a highlight of the DC spring social season, and this year was no exception. We spotted two IBM superstars: Anne Altman and Dan Pelino. She's in charge of its federal business and he's in charge of healthcare and education; between them, they supervise 20,000 employees.
